La belle personne

I watched the French movie "La belle personne" last night on YouTube. It's a good movie but the story is tragic. I like the songs featured in the movie, especially the song "Comme La Pluie" which was sung by Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet, one of the actors in the movie.

Here's the synopsis from IMDB:

Sixteen-year old Junie changes high school mid-year, following the death of her mother. She finds herself in the same class as her cousin Mathias, who introduces her to his friends. All the boys want to date Junie, and she chooses the quietest among them, Otto Cleves. But soon after, she encounters the great love of her life, Nemours, her Italian teacher. The passion that burns between them is, however, doomed. Junie refuses to give in to her feelings and persists in denying herself happiness, which in her eyes is merely illusory.

"La belle personne" is actually a modern adaptation of the classic French novel "La Princesse de Cleves". I want to read the novel but of course I can't read it now since I'm busy with our thesis.

English Trailer for "Love Me If You Dare (Jeux d'enfants)"

This is such a WONDERFUL MOVIE that's why I highly recommend you to watch it!

I somewhat coerced my friend, Shantinn, to watch it!  Haha!  And here is her reaction right after watching the movie: "I'm speechless..  In a good way.."

What's really amusing is that, while Shantinn was watching the movie, she kept on "texting" me her reactions on the interesting events in the movie.  She was like a courtside reporter during a basketball game!  Haha!  Well, I just wonder what made her "speechless" after watching the movie...  Hmmm?

If you find this movie interesting, I guess it won't be hard for you to download it from your favorite websites or downloading softwares.

You can also watch it on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMJhzRqQ-2k"

My last words for this entry:

"WATCH THE MOVIE IF YOU DARE!" (^,..,^)

Love Me If You Dare (Jeux d'enfants)

Love Me If You Dare

“Love Me If You Dare” (Original Title: “Jeux d’enfants”) is a French movie directed by Yann Samuel (“My Sassy Girl” - US).

Synopsis:

As adults, best friends Julien (Guillaume Canet) and Sophie (Marion Cotillard, “La Vie en Rose”) continue the odd game they started as children -- a fearless competition to outdo one another with daring and outrageous stunts. While they often act out to relieve one another's pain, their game might be a way to avoid the fact that they are truly meant for one another.
